Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at KR HOME PLUS INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of flooring, including resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and carpeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Organized and team player
Work Environment:

The work environment will be dusty, and the candidate will be required to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel.

Language:

The language of work is English.
