Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mahi Cornwall Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement menus, pricing, and promotions to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects to improve food service operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Proven track record of success in managing food service operations, including inventory control, labor management, and customer service.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
