Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Office Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing all store funds, ensuring accurate cash handling and record keeping, and maintaining the financial integrity and security of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Store Funds: Confirm the accuracy of cash handling and record keeping, and ensure that all store funds are properly accounted for.
  2. Process Deposits: Prepare and process register bags for armored car pick up, and reconcile end-of-day business transactions.
  3. Monitor Financial Reports: Identify, prepare, and organize financial reports and logs, and distribute relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  4. Communicate Shortages: Communicate any shortages to the designated Loss Prevention Manager and Management.
  5. Ensure Safe Security: Ensure that the safe is secured when the cash office is unattended, and maintain a safe and secure work environment in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant experience in cash handling and financial operations.
  • Preferred Qualifications: A degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance, and experience in a similar role.
