Key Responsibilities

The Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for:

• Analyzing ordering specifications, technical documents, and industrial designs to ensure compliance with Andritz' quality standards

• Supervising the implementation of client quality requirements and standards, ensuring that manufactured hydroelectric components/equipment meet Andritz' high quality standards

• Tracking the implementation of procedures and inspection and test plans, managing quality compilations/reports, and following up on supplier non-compliance

• Performing in-depth analysis of critical non-compliance (8D – Root Cause Analysis)

• Actively participating in supplier/sub-supplier qualification through quality audits, and participating in client audits as needed

We require a degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with a minimum of five years' experience in Quality Assurance. Knowledge of ISO 9001, CWB, ASME or other standards is an asset. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication skills to work with internal and external clients.
