Bar Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at Kamloops Legion. As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing bar operations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage bar operations, including inventory and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving beverages
- Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and equipment
- Operate a cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Manage video lottery terminal operations and record sales
- Store and maintain beverage and food products
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
- Resolve conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
- Set up and maintain equipment, including glassware and beverage dispensers
- Serving It Right Certificate
- Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Availability for shift or on-call work
- Legal ability to work in Canada
- Residency in proximity to the advertised location
- Previous experience in the field of employment
- Required certifications
- Learning/training paid by employer
- Occasional employment
- English language of work
- 6 to 24 hours of work per week
