Responsibilities
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene, ensuring the client's comfort and dignity.
  • Meal preparation, tailored to the client's dietary needs and preferences.

  • Accompanying clients on outings, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Shopping and errands, assisting with daily tasks and errands.
  • Medication assistance and reminders, ensuring timely and accurate medication administration.
  • Ambulation and transporting of clients, providing safe and reliable transportation.
  • Providing companionship to clients, offering emotional support and social interaction.
  • Ability to follow care plans, ensuring consistency and continuity of care.
  • Documentation and charting, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client care.
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Ability to travel around the territory.
  • Access to internet/mobile phone.
