Job Summary:
As a Saw Operator at Mayville Engineering Company, you will be responsible for operating saws and other machinery to produce high-quality products. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively with tools and equipment, and a goal-driven attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate saws and other machinery to produce high-quality products.
- Set up and run saws, as well as other machinery, to meet production requirements.
- Unload and pack products, and rack all types of products.
- Run vertical and horizontal CNC machines, punch press, and tap operations.
- Run various robotic cells and perform troubleshooting processes.
- Follow quality control procedures using measuring instruments to check work.
- Report any unusual conditions, defective material, or machine malfunctions to the Tech A and/or supervisor.
- Work alternate shifts or extended hours as requested.
- Maintain 6S standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint specifications.
- Ability to work effectively with tools and equipment.
- Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Team player must work well in a group.
