Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at GENERAL SPRINKLERS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, receiving and processing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including the supply area and office space
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming inventory, including parts, supplies, and materials
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received, and update inventory records as necessary
  • Prepare and track work orders, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Provide excellent customer service, including advising on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
