As a Client Success Strategist at Scotiabank, you will play a critical role in developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and investment sales, with a strong focus on building long-lasting client relationships. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique goals and provide customized financial strategies and solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Promote the development and sustainable growth of proprietary investment business in the assigned market area by conducting in-depth reviews for assigned clients.
  • You're natural curiosity to uncover and solve for client's needs, delivering trusted financial advice to clients regarding their investments and retirement planning.
  • You're self-directed and performance-oriented in your approach to discovering our clients' needs, listening to understand what they are looking for, and providing customized financial strategies and solutions.
  • Be highly engaged, educate clients, and provide relevant insights and expert advice.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
  • Succesfully completed the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • You're a mutual funds certified professional with current accreditation and good standing for MFDA licensing requirements.
  • You're goal-oriented and entrepreneurial. You can work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team.
