Ritz Furniture Planet Ltd. is seeking a skilled Woodworking Craftsman to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced craftsman to lead our woodworking team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with excellent knowledge of wood materials and the ability to estimate costs and materials accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring that we stay within budget.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work accurately and reliably, with attention to detail.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular overtime required.
Working Conditions

This role involves working on site, in a dusty environment, with regular bending, crouching and kneeling. You will also be required to combine sitting, standing and walking throughout the day.
