Job Title: Child Caregiver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Child Caregiver to join our team at UgCl - Private Household. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. This is a full-time position requiring a flexible and dedicated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and support to children, including meals, snacks, and activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing living spaces.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and other caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in early childhood education or a related field an asset.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move children and equipment as required.

Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a residential setting with children.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
