About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Assembly and Maintenance: Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Blueprint Reading and Fabrication: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Operational Support: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Other trades certificate or diploma, and 5 years or more of experience in industrial equipment assembly and maintenance.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, power tools, and press brakes and metalworking equipment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
