About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Medical Transcription Specialist to join our team at Health Information Services in Melfort Hospital. In this role, you will perform medical transcription for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
What You Will Do
- You will transcribe medical records from dictations made by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Accurate and timely completion of transcription tasks is essential to provide excellent patient care.
- You will work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Qualifications
- A Medical Administrative Assistant diploma is required.
- You must possess strong communication skills, advanced keyboarding skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
Benefits and Perks
This full-time temporary position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. You can expect a base salary range of $22,020 to $23,550 per year, paid every 2 weeks. Working Conditions
This role requires working 224 hours per 6-week period, with no relief or float opportunities. The job involves extensive typing and may require occasional travel.
