IFG International Financial Group Ltd is a renowned Big-5 bank seeking a skilled Financial Expert to join their Product Control team for a 6-month contract. As the ideal candidate, you will have a solid understanding of equity derivatives and be looking for a role in one of Canada's premier Banks.

The Financial Expert will provide daily reporting to front office traders, requiring suburb attention to detail and critical thinking skills. This hands-on role involves supporting the front office with daily PnL Reporting.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Calculation and verification of PnL
  • Reconciling daily positions
  • IPV reporting and valuation adjustments

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications:

  • CPA or CFA or FRM designation or in progress
  • Technically savvy with MS Excel and VBA, Tableau and Alteryx
  • Solid derivatives experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration with treasury, accounting, front office, market risk, etc.
  • Solid understanding of the Greeks and effect on PnL

This is a hybrid in-office role requiring 2-3 days of work per week in Toronto.
