Job Summary:

This is a senior-level role that oversees the Pharmacy department at Loblaw Companies Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely dispensation of prescription medications, maintaining adequate inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy staff
  • Responsible for hiring and managing staff performance
  • Accountable for financial and operational success of the department
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely
  • Ensure medication inventory levels meet patient needs
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations
  • Provide timely resolution to patient needs and doctor requests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Class A Pharmacist license required
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management skills and ability to motivate others
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating action plans
  • Personal computing skills and knowledge of Health Watch Pharmacy Computer system an asset
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and market research.
