About the Role:

Gavin Herman is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and overall well-being.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Relocation costs covered by the employer, with the option to relocate for the role.

Working Conditions:

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent client care.
