Job Title: Fabrication Metalworker

About the Job:

The Fabrication Metalworker will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products. This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in welding, cutting, and shaping metals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques, as well as experience working with various metal types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in fabrication and repair of metal parts and products
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Experience working with various metal types
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
