Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 1648841 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation, including tarping and securing loads as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, cargo handling, and other relevant documentation.
  • Transportation Experience: Possess experience with local and short-haul transportation, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth logistics operations and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: DZ class license.
  • Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
