Job Description
The AFF Conversions Manager will lead the modification of 8 aircraft into aerial firefighting aircraft in 4 years. This role involves coordinating with the customer, subcontractors handling engineering and parts fabrication, and future firefighting departments that will use the aircraft.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  2. Manage detailed schedules and timelines, incorporating all phases of the project from initiation to closure.
  3. Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  4. Monitor resource usage and adjust allocations as needed.
  5. Develop and manage project budgets, tracking financial aspects, and prepare financial reports and forecasts.
  6. Facilitate regular communication and meetings with stakeholders.
  7. Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or project management preferred.
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Aircraft Maintenance Licence is mandatory.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience supporting aircraft modification projects, with at least 5-7 years in program/project management.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
