School District #52 is a dynamic and innovative educational institution located in the beautiful north coast of British Columbia. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in secondary school instruction, recent successful experience in teaching English, and a specialization in literary studies. They will be responsible for teaching Literary Studies 11 and Comp and Lit 10 at Charles Hays Secondary School.

We are committed to providing a learner-focused education system and are looking for a team player who is willing to work collaboratively with teaching and non-teaching staff and parents/guardians to improve student achievement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated strong classroom management skills, and the ability to integrate appropriate technologies into educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Literary Studies 11 and Comp and Lit 10 at Charles Hays Secondary School

  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve student achievement and support student success
  • Integrate technology into educational programs to enhance student learning

Requirements:
