We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 86280 Newfoundland & Labrador Corp. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and safe dining area.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place them in storage areas.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare them for cooking.
Work Environment:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods. You will work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Reliability, team player, and initiative are essential qualities for this role.

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
