Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Material Handler to join our team at SUN BUILDING SUPPLIES INC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ship orders and receive incoming shipments
  • Pick orders and stock materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
  • Make labels and attach them to goods
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods for storage
  • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
