About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Listed Sustainable Energy team as an Associate/Senior Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, evaluating, and analyzing public energy investment opportunities globally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of potential investments using sophisticated models and quantitative tools.
- Develop dynamic financial models to assess investment opportunities and perform detailed valuations.
- Research industry trends and market developments to identify emerging investment prospects.
- Prepare comprehensive Investment Committee memoranda and actively participate in discussions.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the listed energy portfolio through regular reviews and meetings.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including strategy, private assets, and credit, to ensure a cohesive investment approach.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the energy sector, particularly in public energy and/or renewables.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Deep understanding of the listed energy market, including key subsectors such as power and renewables, energy midstream, commodities, and distributed energy.
- Proficiency in financial data platforms like Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
