Job Description

The YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford is seeking an experienced Early Learning Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our early learning programs, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of before and after school programs in local schools.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement programs that meet the developmental needs of children aged 4-12 years.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Early Learning Assistants to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Supervise children and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Liaise with parents, school personnel, and community contacts.
  • Purchase snack supplies and manage program resources.

**Requirements:**

  • Membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) or Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed child care setting.
  • Familiarity with the developmental needs of children aged 0-12 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working computer knowledge.
