About the Role

Freshly Squeezed is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and make change as needed.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Calculate and collect payment from customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive Payment: Handle customer payments, process returns, and provide refunds as necessary.
  • Suggestive Selling: Offer customers product recommendations and promotions to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Greet Customers: Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to customers, setting the tone for a positive shopping experience.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Customers with Self-Checkout: Help customers navigate self-checkout systems and resolve any technical issues.
  • Verify Age: Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products, such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Work Term and Hours: Work a permanent schedule, with 40 hours per week, in a fast-paced retail environment.
