Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Inspector to join our team at CONSOR Engineers. As a Senior Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project schedules, contract documents, and plans.
  • Perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
  • Maintain accurate records of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified.
  • Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
  • Coordinate with field staff and administrative personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Lead field staff meetings to provide updates on project progress and procedures.
  • Delegate inspector staff responsibilities and allocate resources to support project requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum eight years of construction inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Obtain any required certifications and pass relevant qualifications tests for the position.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Working Conditions

This field job primarily operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
