- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
The Child Care Provider will work in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Public transportation is available, and the work setting is in the employer's home.
Security and Safety:A criminal record check is required for this position. The Child Care Provider must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Language:The primary language of work is English, and the Child Care Provider must be fluent in English to communicate effectively with the family and children.Work Hours:
The work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment duration. The Child Care Provider must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
