Job Title: Application Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Development Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Capital Markets Technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex application development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cost-effective and innovative solutions using.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure.
  • Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
  • Act as an application developer and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience with C# /.Net development and Test Driven Development experience (TDD, ATDD or BDD).
  • Experience with.NET, C#, SQL Server, PowerShell, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, Json,.Net Core, Microservices, RESTful API, and Unit Testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Azure development, and/or architecture certification, Elastic search, and SOLID design principles.
  • Degree/diploma in Computer Science, SW Engineering, or related programming degree/diploma.
