In this role, you will conduct experiments, cell culture, cell-based assays, and nanofabrication, as well as perform regular research laboratory maintenance, record keeping, and training new students.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and execute experiments, including cell culture, cell-based assays, and nanofabrication
  2. Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory activities
  3. Provide training and guidance to new students and researchers

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week and a daily work shift during the day. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in biomedical engineering or a related field and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a Laboratory Tech Assistant-Seasonal, you will be responsible for lifting sampling equipment and working in a fast-paced research environment. You will also need to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift sampling equipment
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
