About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in British Columbia. In this role, you will work on complex projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Your leadership skills will be essential in working with multi-discipline teams and guiding projects to successful outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee small and large projects, performing technical design tasks and providing technical guidance to team members.
- Provide technical leadership for civil-related projects and serve as Engineer-of-Record on several projects.
- Manage project teams and financial performance of project budgets.
- Develop client relationships and grow the business through account management and development duties.
- Lead project coordination meetings and conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and those of peers.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Efficient project management and technical lead duties on multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of client expectations, budgeting, proposal writing, and producing high-quality deliverables.
- Technical expertise in civil systems, means, and methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to lead teams and ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interview skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant discipline software programs.
