Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Ochsner, Slidell Memorial Hospital, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and Select Medical, provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in need of specialized care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working collaboratively with our nursing and therapy teams to assist patients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain vital signs and assist patients with daily activities
  • Promptly answer call lights and report any issues or progress observed
  • Reinforce rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant, based on state JCAHO requirements
