Home Support Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

We are seeking a Home Support Specialist to join our team at Hudson's Hope Health Centre. As a key member of our interprofessional healthcare team, you will provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, promoting maximum independence, and ensuring the well-being of individuals and families.

You will work under the direction of the Team Lead or designated clinical leader and will be responsible for delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed. A valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License and use of personal vehicle are required.

• Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
• Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry
• Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients
• Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients
