Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Aviation Liaison Specialist. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our maintenance teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance teams, customers, and stakeholders on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Support the resolution of issues related to design data interpretation and aircraft specific deviations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement proposals to address issues related to aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Participate in the coordination and monitoring of engineering activities, including the coordination of internal resources and external engineering service providers.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Avionics Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience providing engineering support for hangar aircraft and live aircraft operations.
- Familiarity with design philosophy of avionics and electrical systems for Boeing or Airbus commercial aircraft.
- Ability to analyze incomplete information and implement timely decision making while mitigating risk factors.
- Willingness to work extra hours when required to resolve AOG issues.
- Ability to travel as required to support the various KF bases and customers.
- Experience with MS Office necessary.
- AutoCAD experience considered an asset.
