We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our team at McAsphalt, a leading provider of asphalt products and services in Canada. As a 4th Class Power Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the hot oil heater, offloading and loading trucks, and operating mobile equipment at our Langley facility.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control the hot oil heater to ensure optimal performance
- Offload and load trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate mobile equipment, including pumps and piping systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve production goals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid 4th class steam ticket
- Previous experience with high-pressure boilers
- A strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
