Driver Salesperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Driver Salesperson to join our team at North Star Linen & Uniform Services Inc. As a Driver Salesperson, you will be responsible for delivering and selling our products to customers in a professional and efficient manner.

• Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions with customers.
• Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Sales: Sell products over established routes and meet sales targets.
• Merchandise Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products at customer locations.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Record Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.

• Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 3 or D), and DZ class license.
• Transportation Experience: Have local and regional transportation/travel experience.
• Security and Safety: Have a clean driving record and undergo a driving record check (abstract).
• Transportation Information: Possess a valid driver's license.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
• Own Tools/Equipment: Possess steel-toed safety boots and a cellular phone.
• Personal Suitability: Demonstrate client focus, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
