Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Safety Procedures: Create and maintain safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Safety Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspect and audit work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Coach and Train Employees: Provide training and coaching to employees on safety procedures and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and Maintain Safety Programs: Develop and maintain safety programs, including safety awareness campaigns and training programs, to promote a safety culture within the organization.
- Advanced OFA Certificate: Possess an Advanced OFA certificate or equivalent.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Equivalent: Hold a CRSP certification or equivalent.
- High-Level Understanding of Occupational Hygiene Concepts: Possess a high-level understanding of occupational hygiene concepts and principles.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
