About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Windows and Walls: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner at McDonald's Restaurant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Availability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
