We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Counsel to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and providing strategic legal guidance to senior management.
About the Job
- Providing expert commercial law advice on various matters, including contract management and dispute resolution.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure commercial aspects are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
- J.D. or LL.B with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience as an in-house counsel in an international environment.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Previous experience in alternative delivery projects, such as Progressive Design Build and Alliance Contracts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international contracts, including FIDIC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
