Plumber - Installation and Maintenance Specialist

Venus Plumbing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various locations. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work a 40-hour week.
Requirements- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a team environment and supervise other workers
