Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Director to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve academic success and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the centre's operations, working closely with centre staff, teachers, parents, and students to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Help inform inquiring parents about our Oxford Learning programs and services.
  • Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Set up and administer assessments to measure student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and oversee student learning programs to meet individual needs and goals.
  • Liaise with members of the community, including schools, sports teams, and local businesses, to promote our programs and services.
  • Maintain contact with parents and meet with them to discuss their child's progress and provide guidance and support.
  • Ensure that the Oxford Learning philosophy is maintained throughout the centre, creating a fun and energetic learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.
  • Effectively master the Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy and coach other teaching members of the team to ensure consistency and excellence in our programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum university degree, with credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math, and Business preferred.
  • Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset.
  • Additional language(s) spoken, such as Cantonese, is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience in an educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies.
  • Work experience in a business environment is an asset.
  • Experience with billing cycles required.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and online communication apps.
  • Strong phone skills and experience in customer service, with experience in sales preferred.
