Medical Oncology Specialist Opportunity in British Columbia

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at BC Cancer - East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.
As a Medical Oncology Specialist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in the East Kootenay region. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing healthcare team and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of patients and their families. We offer a competitive salary range: $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience.
To qualify for this role, you must be eligible for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia and have Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment. You must also be suitable for appointment to the University of British Columbia.
