About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bicycle Technician to join our team at BIKES AND BLADES RENTALS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our fleet of bicycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose: Conduct thorough inspections of bicycles to identify areas that require repair or maintenance.
  • Repair and Maintain: Use hand, power, or specialized tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components.
  • Test and Adjust: Test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functioning and safety standards.
  • Calibrate and Maintain Equipment: Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliability.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work overtime.
