Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at San Antonio Seafood Market Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations to meet production schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Train staff in food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Manage kitchen records, including stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports to the chef and management team
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen operations
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with a team of 3-4 people, including a cook and kitchen and food service helpers.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
