About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Dino's Pizza Summerside. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
  • Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.

  • Disability Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Newcomer Support: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Youth Support: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.

  • Indigenous Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
