Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure best value for the government
  • Manage procurement processes from start to finish, including tendering and contract administration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
