About the Role

Resident Advisor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a City Manager Plus in Vancouver. As a key member of our Global Content Network, you will play a vital role in supporting the local electronic music scene and helping to grow our audience in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local promoters, venues, and artists to promote RA's offerings and features.
  • Act as a liaison between the GCN, local scene, and Revenue Team to drive growth and revenue in the region.
  • Use your network to build relationships with grassroots promoters, festivals, and venues to support the development of the local electronic music scene.
  • Help with outreach and encourage promoters to connect with the Revenue Team to explore new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
  • Embedded within the local scene with a wide existing network.
  • Outgoing personality who builds networks quickly.
  • Track record of effective communication, both personal and digital.
  • A passion and understanding of electronic music culture is fundamental.
  • Willingness to live RA's values.

This is a freelance role and the expected monthly rate is 1100 CA$ for 40 hours / month. We regularly review our approach and calculations to determine fair and competitive salaries for all our City Manager roles across the globe. Our salary calculation method involves a comprehensive comparison of the cost of living, including rent, additional costs like transaction fees or superannuation, and average salaries across a range of comparable cities within our network.
