Paper 4U is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for measuring and laying out work pieces in preparation for assembly, setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools, and maintaining, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports, as well as setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
  • 35 hours per week
