About the Role

Pattison Agriculture Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the work of heavy-duty equipment mechanics and other team members to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times, and establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Supervise and Train apprentices and other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Certifications and Licenses for heavy-duty equipment technicians, including the Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement and Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Coordinate Transportation and Travel arrangements for team members, including valid driver's licenses and vehicle maintenance.
  • Manage Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities to ensure team members are able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee Financial Benefits and other benefits, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, bonus, group insurance benefits, life insurance, and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement and Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel as required.
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills to effectively supervise and coordinate team members.
