IT Systems Administrator

Join Fed Group as a key player in shaping our technological infrastructure. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising advanced technological solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our existing IT infrastructure. Your expertise in operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, IT security, and automation will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running and evolution of our technological infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a robust security framework to protect the company against IT risks, automating routine tasks to improve the efficiency of IT operations, and providing user support and managing IT requests. You will also serve as a technical reference for the IT team, sharing knowledge, guiding, and training team members on best practices and new technologies. To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and 5 to 10 years' experience in a systems administration role. You will also need expertise in operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, IT security, and automation, as well as bilingual French and English skills. You will be available for remote support 24/7 and will be required to travel occasionally to our warehouses in Montreal and Boucherville.
