Job Title: DC Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DC Warehouse Associate to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment, including counterbalance, reach trucks, and cherry pickers, to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Use computer and RF scanning technologies to track inventory, manage orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
  • Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise for storage or shipment, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in warehouse operations and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Ability to learn and use computer and RF scanning technologies.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
